Chip Browne
Software Engineer in Lindon, Utah
I drive continuous innovation in businesses by enhancing processes, tools, and technologies to accelerate software updates, whether to cloud servers or on-premises systems. My experience also includes over a decade of teaching IT at the higher education level. LinkedIn
I also work at the Delta Center for Utah Jazz NBA basketball, Utah Mammoth NHL hockey, and concerts. I also get to work occasionally at the Maverik Center, Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater, University of Utah Eccles and BYU Lavell Edwards stadiums, as well as the America First field for REAL Salt Lake soccer, and Zions Bank Stadium for Utah Archers PLL lacrosse PLL and Utah Warriors MLR rugby.
I enjoy volunteering at the fine arts and cultural venues here in Utah such as Salt Lake County Arts & Culture, Hale Center Theater, The Ruth, UVU Noorda Center for the Performing Arts, Pioneer Theater, Sandy Amphitheater, and Deer Valley Music Festival.
I have also volunteered at Thanksgiving Point and Red Butte Gardens.
I have enjoyed volunteering at Impact Training which provides experiential trainings and personal transformation and have served as a member of the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition LGBTQ+ Workgroup.
I am passionate about musical performance and have participated several times in “Savior of the World”, a live musical depicting the birth and resurrection of Christ.
Previously, I performed with the Lux Choral Society and the Millennial Choirs and Orchestra which was founded in 2007, and consists of over 5,000 participants in California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Idaho, and Kansas City. Notably, we performed at Carnegie Hall in 2019, including two concerts inside and a final outdoor concert due to a blackout in outside on the street upper Manhattan.
Additionally, I have sung with Witness Music Utah where I performed in Robert Gardner's “Lamb of God”, and Oratorio Society of Utah where we performed Handel's “Messiah”.
I have published short videos on my Facebook page in which I discuss faith, hope and charity. In the past, I published to my video blog at http://bookofmormon.blogspot.com where I discuss one chapter at a time of the Book of Mormon, another testimony of Jesus Christ.
I believe in our divine nature. We have been created by a loving God. We are as He is.
